Press Release : Classic & Sports Finance on board for ROKiT British F4’s new chapter

Established in 1999, Classic & Sports Finance are the UK’s leading financial intermediary with a specialism in race car, vintage, sports car, and classic car finance, and will become the category’s Official Finance Partner.

Run by enthusiasts, for enthusiasts, their industry connections, specialist knowledge and experience have made not only purchasing a classic car a simple process for over two decades but has also helped provide access to and grown the UK’s motorsport community.

Already a funding partner of Motorsport UK, the national membership organisation and governing body for four-wheel motorsport in the UK, Classic & Sports Finance are able to help facilitate the purchase of race cars, transporters, pit and garage equipment, or help with new start-ups, including race teams.

Now, their support of the industry will extend to a new era in Britain’s FIA Formula 4 series as the championship embarks on an ambitious chapter with the new-for-2022 Tatuus T-421 car, complete with an Abarth engine and tyres from Pirelli.

It will also ensure wider visibility for the brand on the high-profile British Touring Car Championship support package. Classic & Sport Finance’s logo will feature on every car on the grid next season, complete with live, free-to-air ITV4 television coverage and capacity crowds across all 10 events around the UK.

Rob Johnson, Manager Director at Classic & Sports Finance said: “Being heavily involved in motorsport funding at all levels, it is naturally and fitting to become a technical partner for ROKiT British F4, where the industry’s future talent has the opportunity to move through the sport’s pathways.

“We support all aspects of the industry and feel the series is a progressive place to be.”

Hugh Chambers, Motorsport UK Chief Executive Officer said: “Classic & Sports Finance have a strong heritage, not only as an industry-leading brand, but also an enthusiastic supporter of the sport at all levels.

“That made them a natural fit for a new era in Britain’s FIA Formula 4 series as, with their help, we look to continue to develop meaningful pathways for the next generation of talents to rise through to the sport’s highest levels.”

Eleven drivers have already committed themselves for the 2022 campaign across seven of Europe’s leading junior single seater teams. Donington Park, Leicestershire hosts the opening three rounds on 23-24 April, live on ITV4.
